Too scared to buy a canvas

I envied a colleague who was an accomplised artist in her own right. She made drawing and painting look so easy. At that time I thought that only serious artists paint on canvas. But I really, really wanted to try painting on canvas. So I stepped into an art shop and loitered around the canvas aisle. I probably spent too much time there, the shop assistant kept eyeing me. I felt that I was being judged, so I left.

So instead of getting that canvas, I got a blank t shirt and a box of fabric crayons instead. Wearable canvas, it is!
